Katherine (Katie) Traylor

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 10 years of experience providing a safe and non judgmental environment for people to work towards and experience freedom and healing. I have worked with a range of client ages 14 – 56 and a variety of issues including struggling with adjustment, childhood trauma and complex grief, depression, anxiety and relationship issues including both avoidance and dependence. My most recent years of clinical experience have been with university students ages 17-45. My approach to therapy includes holding space for you to be fully and wholly who you are and it combines Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems Theory, Client-Centered Therapy, and also Brief and Solution Focused models of therapy. I believe in treating all clients with warmth and respect. My goal will be to tailor our conversations and treatment plan to meet your specific needs and to align with you to move toward the healing and growth that you are seeking. It takes courage and effort and energy to reach out and try something new or tell your story to a new person.
