About Katy Shuck's service

My name is Katy Shuck. I have been practicing in the Social Work field for 11 years. I graduated from the MSW program at East Tennessee State University. I believe in providing therapy from a holistic approach emphasizing the interconnection of mind, body, and spirit. I seek to help clients of all ages navigate trauma, abuse, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, mood disorders, grief, and other presenting concerns. I welcome clients of all backgrounds into a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship where they can identify and overcome personal barriers. I utilize CBT, REBT, Solution-focused techniques, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness among others. I come from a place of non-judgement and I do not believe in stigmatizing labels. My hope is to assist clients in finding a way to cope with their symptoms, without feeling judged, and while being empowered to create positive change.
