About Kay Saunders's service

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with experience in both in patient and out patient counseling. I offer individual counseling and enjoy working with anyone who is motivated and ready to make changes in their life in order to gain more control over their circumstances. I provide a holistic approach by considering my clients mental, physical, spiritual, social and educational needs. My approach to therapy integrates several theoretical paradigms. I am first and foremost a client-centered therapist. I incorporate a variety of techniques grounded in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, solution-focused, mindfulness and psych-educational approaches. I believe I can be an effective agent of change for my clients because I listen, validate and empower with the goal of helping them find hope, healing, and growth in order to live a more meaningful life.
