Kelly Brast

Kelly Brast is the owner and lead therapist at Kelly’s Counseling Services, bringing over 30 years of experience in the mental health field. With a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Sam Houston State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Houston, Kelly is a highly qualified and compassionate professional. As a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, Licensed Sex Offender Treatment Provider, and Certified Anger Resolution Therapist, Kelly has extensive expertise in working with diverse client populations. She specializes in addressing issues such as depression, anxiety, stress, sexual abuse, physical abuse, major mental and physical illnesses, grief, life changes, family problems, peer challenges, and abandonment issues. Kelly has worked in various settings, including foster care, county probation and parole, residential treatment centers, state hospitals, state schools, MHMR authorities, private schools, and private practices. Her therapeutic approach combines Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Reality Therapy, and Psychotherapy to support the growth and development of each client. As a cancer survivor, Kelly understands firsthand how life can change unexpectedly, and she is committed to helping individuals from all walks of life without judgment or discrimination based on race, religion, gender, age, or sexual orientation.
