Hello My name is Kenisha, but everyone calls me K. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug counselor in the great state of Georgia. I have been providing counseling services for over 12 years. I have worked with clients that are faced with a wide range of concerns including: depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, substance abuse concerns, anger management, self esteem issues and ADHD. I have also worked with clients with co occurring diagnosis. My dedication to the field of mental health stems from my personal experience with it. I have personally overcome some mental health challenges and I know first hand how difficult it can be to ask for help, so, I want to commend you for seeking help, not all people are brave enough to do so. During our partnership, we will discuss your goals, both long and short term; identify barriers that stand in the way of you achieving those goals and then derive a plan that will help you to move closer to reaching those goals. Therapy can be hard work, but I am willing to walk through this process with you, if you are willing to walk with me. My approach is wholistic and individualized based on your needs. However, I do absolutely incorporate the mindfulness approach into therapy style. I look forward to working with you and am excited about helping you to become the best version of you that you can be. Thanks, K
