Hello, I am a retired Fire Rescue Chief of 37 years who also has 15 years experience as a Therapist (LMHC) in Florida. I am a state qualified LMHC supervisor as well. I graduated in 2004 from Nova Southeastern University and have practiced clinically both as a therapist and clinical coordinator. My past and current experiences include work at a regional crisis center, mobile crisis team and clinical coordinator for a local behavioral health center that specializes in treating first responders, military and other essential employees such as doctors, nurses and other health care professionals. I also treat many athletes on all levels to improve performance and quality of life. I have experience treating a wide range of conditions ranging from mood, anxiety, PTSD, substance abuse as well as life changing distress. My approach is usually in-line with CBT/REBT, which I learned at the Albert Ellis Institute in New York City. I am also very solution focused and will make you feel very comfortable during our sessions. My past experiences equipped me with the drive to fight along side of you to not only feel better, but to get better! It takes courage to seek help and by being on this site, you have already taken the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you. Lets get to work! I very much look forward to working with you!
