Thank you for taking the time to learn about me! If you are searching for a warm, enthusiastic, empathetic person with whom the begin the journey of therapy, I might be a great fit for you! I am a licensed therapist (LCPC) and have worked in the mental health field for over 10 years. I have worked with children, teens, adults, and families– I love getting to know people and offering support. I believe I we all go through periods of light and periods of shadow in our lives. I believe that, by developing insight, awareness and self-compassion, we learn to better navigate and lift the shadows. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, biploar disorder, ADHD, ODD, DMDD, RAD, relationship dynamics, attachment, communication, parenting techniques, complex trauma, and more. I am a Trauma-Informed therapist, certified by the Ferentz Institute for Advanced Trauma Treatment (2018). My therapy style is relaxed and reliable, a mix of zen and enthusiasm. I utilize a client-centered therapy approach that includes aspects of CBT and mindfulness techniques. If this sounds like a fit for you, please feel free to contact me! “Out of the night that covers me, black as the pit from pole to pole, I thank whatever gods may be for my unconquerable soul.”- Invictus, W.E.
