I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), and National Certified Counselor (NCC) with about 13 years of experience in the counseling field. I graduated in 2010 from New York University with my MA in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness, and in 2008 from New York University with my BA in Psychology. I have experience treating children, adolescents, adults, and families. I have treated individuals with anxiety, depression, addiction, personality disorders, bipolar disorder, trauma, and adjustment to changes. I have also provided healthcare counseling around chronic/debilitating illness and end-of-life planning. I am comfortable and experienced with providing therapy to a diverse population. My style is more eclectic when approaching therapy since it’s important for me to tailor therapy to an individual’s needs. I’ve been trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). My goal is to foster a therapeutic relationship where a person feels safe, not judged, and understood. My style is warm and I will take my time to understand what’s going on for you, then work with you collaboratively to figure out how to address your issues. I am here to help support you through your challenges, so please feel free to reach out and we can start this journey together.
