Hello! My name is Kim Quintero and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Oklahoma. I have over 30 years of experience working with children, teens, families, and individuals dealing with a variety of issues ranging from parenting, domestic violence, abuse, trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship and behavioral problems. I have worked in outpatient mental health centers, university student counseling center, as well as in public schools as an elementary school counselor. I believe in establishing a warm, supportive, and interactive relationship with my clients. My therapeutic approach is mostly Cognitive Behavioral and for many problem areas, I highly encourage practice between sessions as this is how we all improve in areas we want to get better at. I believe that the solutions are within YOU and my job is to help you discover them. I will guide you to the best of my ability. Personally, I have been married for 35 years. I have been blessed with 3 wonderful children and 1 beautiful granddaughter that I adore! I absolutely love the lake (oceans too), so in my free time, that’s where you’ll find me if I have the chance! I applaud the steps you are taking right now. That’s the first step to the new YOU! I look forward to getting to know you, and the journey we will take together!
