Kimberly Coto (LICSW)

Hello! My name is Kimberly. I have a Masters degree from Barry University in Miami, FL and currently residing in Massachusetts. I have 10-years of clinical experience working with young men in the juvenile justice system, offering family counseling in the foster care and individual therapy for children and teens. In addition, I have worked in a hospital setting, providing brief solution focused therapy to all ages. If you are looking for a counselor with a diverse clinical background, you have found a match! I specialize in solution-focused therapy, most helpful to individuals seeking an immediate skills based approach that can be used in real time. I use many techniques from the Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) model which fosters the ability to learn and master behavior skills to enable better life choices and self-help independence. It is my goal to provide tools to clients that they can use and integrate in daily living and work collaboratively with my clients to help them accomplish their goals.
