Kimberly McCormick

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Wisconsin and have been working in this field for the last 12 years. I have experience in a variety of settings, including inpatient and outpatient treatment, individual and group therapy and have worked with children, adolescents and adults. I have experience working with individuals who are struggling with a range of struggles, including depression, anxiety, personality disorders, interpersonal relationship problems and issues with self-esteem and personal value. I have also helped many individuals who have difficulty coping with the uncertainty within our world and their ability to accept what they cannot change. My counseling style is friendly, honest and at times challenging. I believe that everyone deserves to be treated with respect, compassion and empathy while also being challenged enough to make change. I utilize a variety of treatment styles including, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Therapy and am very comfortable with triage of acute symptoms. I will work to tailor treatment to your individual needs and meet you where you are at in your wellness journey.
