Kori Gooden

Kori Gooden is a dedicated and compassionate therapist who believes in meeting her clients where they are and helping them achieve their goals. With a focus on providing consistent support and feedback, Kori aims to empower individuals to overcome their barriers and resolve their own issues. With experience in working with high-risk individuals dealing with suicidality and chronic anxiety, Kori understands the importance of a non-judgmental and caring approach. She is sensitive and knowledgeable about diversities in gender and sexuality, offering an educated and compassionate perspective for LGBTQ+ clients. Despite being a younger therapist, Kori has worked with people of all ages and backgrounds, utilizing her skills in assertiveness training, communication techniques, boundary setting, self-esteem, and self-compassion. She is also experienced in working with co-occurring disorders, offering support to individuals dealing with substance use disorders alongside mental health conditions. Kori obtained her MSW in 2015 and became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in 2018.
