Dr. Kristie Ineichen

I am licensed clinical psychologist with over 10 years of experience and am currently licensed in Minnesota and Wisconsin. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, anger management, OCD, ADHD. relationship issues, parenting struggles, and trauma. I was excited to join the BetterHelp team because I believe therapy should be accessible and available to more people, without limitations and labels dictated by insurance companies. I would describe my therapy style as genuine and eclectic. I believe in treating everyone with respect and compassion, and while I cannot be anyone other than me, I will tailor my approach to meet the needs of the individual. I also believe that as a therapist it is my job to challenge my clients and not simply tell them what they want to hear. I believe that if we are not being challenged, we’re not growing! My approach combines cognitive-behavioral (CBT), humanistic, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), solution-focused, as well as mindfulness and relaxation techniques. Life is hard and I believe it is essential to have a sense of humor and find joy in the little things. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with animals on my hobby farm, gardening, listening to music, skydiving, hiking, camping, fishing, being a mom, traveling, and learning new things. It takes courage to seek help and I look forward to helping you on your journey towards becoming the best version of yourself you can be!
