Dr. Kriston Segura

Hello. My name is Dr. Kriston Segura. I’ve been a psychologist in Nevada for over 20 years with a wide array of experiences. I’ve worked in prison/jail settings, nursing homes, out patient clinics as well as supervising and running programs for at risk families and youth. However, I’ve found the most satisfaction in my private practice working one-on-one with patients helping them work through and recover from traumas such as sexual abuse, domestic violence and associated illness (depression, anxiety, eating disorders). In addition, for the past decade I’ve been conducting psychological evaluation for bariatric/weight loss patients and providing follow up treatment. Even if you feel like your issues “aren’t that bad” in comparison, please, don’t ever minimize your experiences. However, ultimately, my goal is always to help my patient “go with their gut” and learn to intuitively learn what’s best for them–even if it’s not me. I also believe in finding your bliss in life–whatever that maybe–creative passions, work, family, hobbies. Personally, one of mine is all things Disney.
