Hi! I am so glad you’re taking the first step in your therapeutic journey. And thank you for taking the time to read about me. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Massachusetts. I have over 15 years of experience helping young adults, adults, and older adults navigate through some of life’s tougher challenges. I am easy to talk to, and I find that forging strong, safe relationships with my clients is the basis of successful therapeutic work. I am an LGBTQ+ advocate. My experience is quite varied: I have worked in residential treatment centers, impatient hospital settings, outpatient settings, family centers, and on crisis teams. Each of these locations has provided me with opportunities to grow and learn as a therapist. I have helped clients recover from various traumas, work through feelings of depression and/or anxiety, and have helped individuals feel a sense of happiness and fulfillment. Whatever challenges you are facing, you can expect that I will meet you wherever you are in your journey and offer gentle guidance and honesty as we navigate through it together. Life can be stressful, and it is so helpful to have an objective ear. My counseling style is client centered. I provide a safe space, free from judgment, where you can share, experience, and grow. I combine dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) approaches with positive psychology and a little cognitive behavioral therapy as well. I am also trained in trauma informed care, as well as accelerated resolution therapy, which has been proven quite effective when dealing with trauma. Each person is a unique individual and deserves to have treatment that meets your specific needs. I do not believe in a cookie cutter approach. Taking the first step is always the hardest.
