Laronne James is a highly experienced and dedicated therapist with a passion for helping individuals improve their mental health and overall well-being. With a career spanning over fifteen years in the mental health field, Laronne has honed her skills and expertise in various areas. Originally from Texas, she currently practices in a suburb of Dallas. Laronne’s professional journey began as a criminal justice addictions professional, where she worked with a diverse range of clients, including those with intellectual disabilities and individuals dealing with substance abuse issues. She also facilitated a group for high school students who had tested positive for marijuana during random testing. From 2004 to 2017, Laronne worked extensively with individuals with autism and intellectual disabilities, collaborating closely with psychiatrists and assuming the role of a team leader. During her pursuit of licensure, she gained valuable experience interning at a psychiatric hospital in their intensive outpatient program.
