Larry Bell Jr

Larry Bell Jr is a South Carolina native who has dedicated his career to helping others in their mental health journey. After serving in the U.S. Air Force, Larry earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Wichita State University, followed by a M.S. in Family Therapy from Friends University and a Master’s in Public Health from the University of Kansas. With over 15 years of experience in the mental health industry, including 10 years as a clinician, Larry has worked in various settings, providing services to individuals, couples, families, and groups. He has worked within public schools, with youth in foster care, with active duty military service members, and with veterans through the VA hospital. Larry has helped clients with a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, PTSD, grief, communication problems, conflict management, and navigating microaggressions. Larry’s clinical style is centered around understanding each individual’s unique story, being invited into their world, identifying their goals, and walking alongside them on their journey. His approach incorporates supportive, solution-focused, intergenerational, strategic, structural, and process models of therapy. Larry is a valuable resource and tool, ready to assist clients along their path
