I am a psychotherapist and national speaker with 19 years of experience. My approach to therapy is to help individuals develop the necessary skills to overcome life’s challenges and create healthier lifestyle patterns. My therapeutic orientation is rooted in psychodynamic theory with a focus on attachment patterns and relational concepts. This approach helps individuals make sense of their life and improve their overall quality of life. I earned a Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) from Institute for Clinical Social Work in Chicago, IL and a Master of Social Work (MSW) from University of Maryland at Baltimore. I also hold a Certificate of Integrated Behavioral Health in Primary Care from University of Michigan which allows me to help individual understand the connection between physical and emotional heath.
