About Latoya Love's service

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Missouri. I received my B.A. in Psychology from the University of Missouri – Kansas City in 2009. In 2013, I received my M.A. in Counseling from Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri. I have worked in the mental health field for over 14 years and have been a licensed professional counselor for 11 of those years. I am a wife and mother who is passionate about enriching the lives of people who struggle with showing up for themselves daily especially as it pertains to self-care and mental health. My counseling approach is strength based and solution focused. I am skilled and trained with abuse and trauma and take a trauma focused approach. I come from a holistic prospective because I believe mental health encompasses it all. Normalizing mental health in the black community is also one of my desires as I champion my purpose in mental health community. I look forward to working with you on your journey. It would seriously be an honor.
