Laura Garrison

Laura Garrison is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 7 years of experience in the field. She has a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology/Child Development. Laura has worked with various populations, providing individual and family therapy to children, adolescents, and adults in non-profit settings, outpatient and inpatient hospitals, and pediatric clinics. She specializes in Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) and Attachment, Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Client-Centered Therapy, and mindfulness-based therapies. Laura believes in a holistic approach to mental health, considering the mind, body, spirit, and connection to others. She is passionate about helping her clients thrive and find fulfillment in their lives. Laura creates a safe space for her clients to work through their challenges and empowers them to overcome obstacles and create their own solutions. She believes that circumstances do not define a person, but rather, it is what one does with them that matters.
