I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York with over 10 years of experience working in the mental health field. I have worked with clients in transitional housing, care coordination, and ACT team programs, where we provide outpatient services to clients in the community. I believe that life challenges often disrupt our thoughts, emotions, behaviors, connections, and overall sense of being our true selves. It can be challenging to open up to someone during your most vulnerable moments, as we often find it difficult to face our thoughts and feelings. We all have struggled in dealing with painful situations, but we no longer have to struggle alone. Psychotherapy is a deep personal journey into getting to know yourself. I am here to help you create a path of healing for your personal growth. Therapy is an important first step into understanding yourself and your past, finding ways to cope with current struggles, and ultimately improving your overall quality of life. I provide therapeutic services around general life challenges, managing emotions, trauma and anxiety-related difficulties, as these tend to impact interpersonal relationships and general life-satisfaction. My goal is to provide you with a safe, therapeutic space filled with compassion and empathy, while taking on this challenge of exploring, understanding, and growing into a better you.
