Laura Mueller

I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in Tennessee for the past 13 years. I have experience working in child welfare, a domestic violence and homeless shelter, the public school system and most recently in the foster care system. I have a passion for supporting children and teens, especially those in the foster care system, or those at risk due to mental health issues, poverty issues and/or histories of abuse or neglect. I will meet you, as a person, where you are in your life and without judgment. I seek to explore choices and decisions that have been made, as well as to process the underlying factors that may have impacted those choices and decisions. I am trauma sensitive and believe in family systems theories, attachment theory and choice theory as my core treatment approaches. I look forward to working with you! I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.
