About Laura Sonneborn-Turetsky's service

Hi there. I’m Laura and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and registered yoga teacher based in New York, with 8 years of experience working with survivors of trauma and domestic violence. My objectives are safety and growth for the people I hold space for. I work with families and individuals to address a range of challenges, such as depression, anxiety, self esteem, unhealthy relationships, spiritual searching, transitions and loss. I am trained in traditional modalities such as Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Client-Centered Practice, as well as applying yogic theory and techniques for trauma treatment. If you are struggling, I am here to help you empower yourself, and become more aligned with your authentic self. I look forward to connecting.
