Hello! My name is Lauren Bricker and I have been practicing as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for the past 6 years in New York working primarily with young adults and adolescents. Much of my experience has been working with individuals who are experiencing anxiety, depression, postraumatic stress, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I also have ample experiencing working with individuals and families who have been negatively impacted by the criminal justice system. I am here to provide a compassionate, warm and empathetic space to guide you towards your goals and the changes that you wish to make in your life. I enjoy watching people grow and become empowered to make their own life choices and decisions. I take a collaborative and holistic approach in working with clients and offer interventions based on your specific needs and personality. In my practice I utilize solution based therapy, client centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing. The feedback I receive from clients is that they find me to be caring and nonjudgmental, and they appreciate that I am honest and direct with them. My goal is to help clients be the best version of themselves and lead a life that is positive and fulfilling. I look forward to working with you!
