Lauren Esquivel

Lauren Esquivel is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Texas with over 3 years of professional experience. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Art from Texas Lutheran University in 2010 and went on to pursue her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University in Dallas, Texas, graduating in May 2021. Lauren has a wide range of experience working with children, adolescents, individuals, couples, and families as they navigate through challenges such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, ADHD, behavioral issues, and improving parenting skills. She believes that therapy is an empowering process that allows individuals to gain self-awareness, make positive changes, and live the life they desire. Lauren firmly believes that you are the expert of your own story and that you possess the strengths necessary to overcome any obstacles you may face. As a therapist, she sees counseling as a journey towards personal growth and aims to create a safe, accepting, and positive environment where clients can explore their stories. She walks alongside her clients as a supportive partner throughout their therapeutic experience.
