I offer a supportive non-judgmental environment to help people address a wide variety of issues including symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship struggles. I specialize in marriage, couple, and family counseling, but I also do a lot of work with individual clients. When the pandemic began, I was very concerned that the online format would not be as beneficial for people, but that has not been the case. This is especially true for individual clients. I do my best to make it feel like we are sitting in a room together and having a conversation that just happens to be working on any issues people are struggling with. I have additional extensive training and experience working with teenagers with behavioral issues and their families. Teenage behavioral problems I have experience with include, but are not limited to, defiance, disrespect, self-esteem, school difficulties, criminal and problem sexual behaviors. These can be challenging behaviors for parents to understand and manage. I offer support and guidance for parents to address them and help their children grow into confident, healthy, happy adults. I approach each therapeutic relationship as a team with my clients. I never dictate what someone needs to work on. My only goal is to help clients reach their own personal goals and that is different for every single client. I have been doing this work for over 20 years and I look forward to helping you reach YOUR goals!
