Hello, my name is Lisa Lee. I am so happy you are here and took the first step to start feeling better! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with the state of Florida. My goal is to provide you with a safe, supportive, warm, and encouraging environment. I treat my clients with kindness, respect, and empathy which allows them to grow, process their feelings, and make the necessary changes needed to move forward. My role as your therapist is to help guide you by showing you unconditional positive regard. I have been practicing for 6 years providing counseling services to children, teenagers, and adults in various settings. I have worked with clients struggling with anxiety/stress, depression, history of trauma, grief/loss, lack of self-esteem, and coping with life changes. My theoretical orientation is a collaboration between a Person-Centered approach, Solution Focused, and Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT), depending on each person’s needs. My goal as a therapist is for you to achieve greater independence allowing you to cope with any current and future problems you may face. I will guide you in identifying your strengths, developing coping skills, and increasing your confidence. I use therapy techniques surrounding self-care and mindfulness which result in a happier, healthier you.
