Lora Jones is a licensed professional counselor with over 9 years of experience in the mental health field. She is licensed in Texas and has worked with clients facing various concerns, including depression, anxiety, grief, abandonment issues, self-harm, social anxiety, LGBTQ issues, and trauma. Lora has extensive experience in crisis management and providing ongoing support for clients with PTSD. Throughout her career, she has worked in different settings, such as inpatient psychiatric care, long-term residential care, outpatient, in-home care, and community support programs. Lora’s counseling style is non-judgmental, empathetic, respectful, warm, and infused with humor. She believes in meeting her clients where they are and tailoring her approach based on their individual needs. Lora draws from a range of therapeutic approaches, including dialectical behavior therapy, narrative therapy, solution-focused, mindfulness-based therapy, person-centered, trauma-focused, and motivational interviewing.
