Lynda Feldt is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) in the state of Texas. With over 20 years of experience in the public education setting, Lynda has worked with a diverse population of people with special needs. Her passion for helping others led her to pursue a second career in counseling, and she graduated with a master’s degree in counseling from the University of Houston Victoria in 2016. Lynda’s therapeutic approach is solution-focused, allowing her clients to identify their strengths and work towards their ideal lives. She is skilled in integrating approaches such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address individual needs and help clients change thinking and behaviors that do not produce positive experiences. Lynda also utilizes skills from mindfulness-based self-compassion, meditation, and somatic interventions. With over 25 years of experience with 12-step recovery, Lynda is well-equipped to assist clients struggling with addiction or undesired behaviors.
