Madonna LaRocque

I am a Clinical Social Worker licensed in South Carolina with over 8 years of experience working first as a child protective social worker and more currently as a substance abuse clinician. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, OCD, ADHD, and substance abuse. I have also helped many individuals who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse. My therapy style is warm, empathetic, client-centered, and strengths-based. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, while avoiding stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, internal family systems, trauma-focused and solution-focused therapy modalities. I will tailor our therapeutic relationship to meet your unique and specific needs. We will work to develop relevant and achievable goals to support your needs and help move you towards change. Through self-reflection, therapy can develop your capacity to be more self-aware, challenge negative thoughts and build towards a more safe and healthy life functioning.
