I am so glad you are here. It takes a lot of courage to recognize that we need help, and it takes even more strength to seek out help. Some experiences in life truly shake us up and have us questioning our decisions, our way of life and even our beliefs. It can feel as if each of these experiences can knock us down if we let it, but these experiences can also have a way of making us stronger, if we give it the proper time to process and learn from it. That is my hope for you. We just need to find our strength to move past it and learn how to cope with these traumas. Let’s work together to ensure that these past experiences give us fuel to change ourselves and our journey, instead of defining us. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience working with children, teens, and adults. I am warm, empathetic and level headed. I have experience working with individuals, couples and families who are experiencing depression, anxiety, feelings of overwhelm, recent life transitions, grief and loss, chronic health issues, trauma, self-esteem, abuse, questions with self identity, PTSD, PPD, relationship problems. Often, individuals seek therapy because they feel stuck or unsatisfied with a part of their life or want to explore negative patterns that are holding them back. With proper support, it is possible to change these negative patterns. Allow yourself the space to grieve, cope and heal. I believe that a positive therapeutic relationship is based on mutual respect, trust and safety. I will start where you are and create a safe space for you that empowers you to move forward in your life, and gives you the strength to make positive changes.
