About Marcia Tharp's service

I am licensed in Montana with 15 years of professional work experience. My clinical experience includes work with all ages and in multiple settings. I believe the answers we seek to the problems in our life are within each of us. My therapeutic process is to accompany you in your journey of discovery, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Relaxation, and Narrative Therapy approaches. My therapeutic style is to meet you where you are and using my eclectic approach, help to illuminate choices and opportunities. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, coping with grief and loss, & depression. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy takes courage. Good job for getting started!
