About Marcia Winter's service

I am a licensed clinical social worker. I began my career in the child dependency field and worked with children and families. I currently work in the hospital setting and my current role is the emergency room social worker. Many of the patients I see have experienced a traumatic event or recent life change. I primarily complete brief interventions in my current role. It would be nice to have a longer-term relationship with my clients to help them achieve their goals. I have a variety of work experience with clients suffering from anxiety, depression, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, death and dying, loss and trauma. My therapy style is open and nonjudgmental. I believe in treating everyone with respect and compassion. It is a big step to seek therapy and start making changes in your life. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and help you on your journey. I look forward to working with you!
