This can be exciting and overwhelming to feel that you are in need of someone to walk with you on this road. Although it can be an unknown experience for some and just maybe all too familiar experience for others, however it maybe I am glad you are here. I graduated from Victory University in 2013 with a Masters of Science in Professional Counseling. My background is in managing clients with chronic disease diagnosis. I have assisted in managing the care of people living with HIV and other chronic illness. The clients have more than physical health issues. I discovered these clients have a long history of adverse experiences. I assisted those clients with navigating through painful experiences and the rejection from close family members because of lifestyle and disease. I work with women whom have neglected their health, Mental and physical, to maintain the the structure of the family, they have learned to balance family and health inappropriately. I have over 10 years of experience guiding clients through some of life’s most difficult challenges. My experience and skills are in a variety of areas, such as, Trauma and Grief Counseling, Substance Abuse Counseling, Depression, Anxiety, BiPolar Disorder, Codependency and other areas of unmanageability. I use an Eclectic Modality of treatments. I have experience in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) and training in Psychodrama.
