Margaret Doman

Margaret Doman is a highly experienced licensed clinical social worker with over 34 years of experience in the field. With a professional training focused on clinical social work, Margaret utilizes various therapeutic counseling models including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotional Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, among others. Throughout her career, Margaret has worked with clients of all ages, from children to adults, in a variety of settings, addressing a wide range of issues such as depression, anxiety, stress, anger management, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, trauma, and mental health disorders. Additionally, Margaret has served as a Clinical Supervisor for children’s mental health programs and a Program Director of an outpatient substance abuse treatment program. With a wealth of personal experience living and working within diverse cultures and communities, Margaret is sensitive to the unique challenges individuals face. She believes in a holistic approach to mental health therapy, taking into consideration all aspects of a person’s life and environment. Margaret’s therapeutic approach is strength-based, providing a supportive counseling relationship that allows clients to explore and gain understanding and insights to drive positive change and growth towards a stronger, happier, and fulfilled self.
