Marilyn Caylor

Marilyn Caylor is a dedicated therapist who is passionate about helping individuals find a renewed state of mind. With a focus on combat or sexual assault-related PTSD, childhood physical/sexual abuse, sexual identity, depression, anxiety, blended families, and phase of life issues, Marilyn provides a nonjudgmental and supportive environment that prioritizes privacy and respect. She specializes in assisting U.S. veterans and their families with concerns related to military service and deployment, as well as working with clients experiencing suicidal thoughts, mental health concerns, and substance use problems. Marilyn’s counseling expertise extends to children, adults, couples, and families, and she is particularly adept at addressing the unique concerns of LGBTQIA+ individuals, from relationship issues to transition. With a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and ongoing pursuit of a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from UTSA, Marilyn brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her practice. As a military spouse and mother of five, she has personally navigated through nine military moves, visited twelve countries and twenty-four states, and supported her family through two combat deployments.
