Mario Garcia is a Licensed Professional Counselor with 20 years of experience in the mental health field. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from the University of Texas-Pan American. Mario has worked in various roles, including case manager, skills trainer, and emergency psychiatric screener for the mental health authority of the Rio Grande Valley, Tropical Texas Behavioral Health. He also has experience in the field of substance use, conducting individual and group sessions. Mario’s career as a therapist began in 2012, and since then, he has worked with children, adolescents, and adults dealing with a wide range of concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, LGBT issues, trauma, abuse, relationship problems, grief, OCD, and parenting skills. Mario believes in the power of conquering oneself and is dedicated to helping individuals on their journey towards recovery and personal growth.
