Mark Bigley

Mark Bigley is a licensed LCSW therapist in the state of Texas with over fifteen years of experience. He believes that the therapeutic relationship is the key to personal growth and healing. Mark draws from his background as a pastoral counselor and his MA in Pastoral Psychology and Counseling, as well as his MSW from Wayne State University and Graduate Certificate in Social Work with Couples and Families. He is well-versed in Family Systems theory, psychodynamic counseling, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. Mark is also trained in EMDR and EFT for PTSD and anxiety. He incorporates Neurolinguistics (NLP) to help clients access sensory information and improve communication. Solution Focused Therapy is another approach he uses to help clients develop problem-solving strategies. Mark takes a holistic approach, considering the mind, body, and spirit as interconnected aspects of healing. He has a background in Biofield Therapy and Energy Medicine, Clinical Aromatherapy, and training as a Yoga Instructor. His experience in hospice care as a bereavement counselor has equipped him to support individuals through grief and offer methods for integration and self-reliance. Mark believes in the power of laughter and uses humor as a tool to reconnect clients with the joy of life. He
