Marla Starnes

I specialize in helping individuals with past trauma. I am trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I believe in the importance of understanding and validating why we feel and act that way we do while exploring healthier coping patterns and behaviors. My hope is to work with individuals who are looking to make a positive change in their lives. This past year has been especially challenging for most of us and I want to bring hope and support for those struggling to cope with life’s day to day challenges. Whether due to past trauma or current life situations, we all could use a listening ear to vent to as well as some new strategies to help see things from a new perspective or get unstuck from unhelpful behavioral patterns.
