Martha Dianne (Marty) Burke

Martha Dianne (Marty) Burke is a highly experienced therapist with over twenty-seven years of counseling experience. She holds an undergraduate Degree in Physical Education/English from the University of Texas/Arlington and a Masters Degree in Counseling from the University of Texas/Denton. With a background in teaching and coaching, Marty’s skills as a counselor/therapist are greatly enhanced. She has a natural ability to connect with people and quickly gain their trust, allowing her to effectively teach and motivate them to reach their full potential. Marty has extensive experience working with military personnel and their families as a Department of Defense Counselor and a Military Family Life Counselor. She has also provided counseling for individuals with substance abuse issues who were ordered to treatment by the courts. Marty’s therapeutic approach is eclectic, tailored to each client’s needs and preferences. She believes that every person deserves to feel safe and happy and is dedicated to helping her clients achieve this. With a focus on trauma work, Marty often works with the inner child, addressing past experiences of dysfunction, abuse, and trauma. By connecting with the inner child and engaging in healing work, Marty helps her clients become completely happy individuals who are comfortable in their own skin and in control of their emotions.
