Martin Ward

Martin Ward is a Licensed Professional Counselor with extensive experience in trauma and PTSD. With a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Human Services and a Master’s of Arts degree in Counseling from Evangel University, Martin has worked with adolescents, adults, couples, and families throughout his career. His dedication to helping others extends beyond traditional therapy sessions, as he has served as the lead counselor for the American Red Cross Shelter after the Joplin, MO F5 tornado in 2011 and provided counseling services in the aftermath of the school shooting in Santa Fe, Texas in 2018. Martin is also an adjunct professor, teaching courses on psychology, human services, personal relationships, and sociology. He firmly believes that each individual holds the key to their own healing and growth. As a therapist, Martin’s role is to listen closely, encourage deeper exploration of thoughts and feelings, and ask thought-provoking questions to help clients discover their own truth. Honesty and self-reflection are essential components of the therapeutic process, as they pave the way for finding answers and achieving inner peace.
