I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1997. I’ve been a practicing therapist in community mental health centers, hospitals, private practice and residential rehabilitation treatment facilities. I have extensive experience working with those who are coping with depression, anxiety, grief/loss and trauma. Issues related gambling addiction and narcissistic abuse syndrome are also a speciality of mine. My treatment approach involves providing empathy, deep understanding and compassion. I combine nurturing and support with practical skills that can be taken and applied to everyday situations and challenges. I feel very strongly that the most important aspect of counseling is the connection and comfort you feel with the counselor you choose to embark on your journey of healing. I believe challenging experiences are opportunity for growth and a third objective party that can offer prespective and support that can be extremely enlightening and beneficial. In terms of availability, I check and respond to messages at least twice daily, seven days a week. I offer live chat, phone and messaging sessions each morning weekly ,a couple evenings a week and Saturdays. I look forward to working with you!
