Maurice Swain

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor specialized in marriage in family therapy. For several years I completed crisis stabilization assessments in Camden County. For 10 years prior to starting my own practice I was able to develop and implement treatment plans for young adults dealing with significant trauma. Throughout that time, I was able to stream line a therapeutic approach, that while not invasive has been proven to be very effective in treating significant behavioral problems. My therapeutic approach is a blend of Person-Centered and CBT. Clients that I have worked with often find me relatable, which makes exploring difficult life situations easier to face and manage. Although I have over a decade of experience counseling in this field, I found that my best asset is that I am always open to learning more about my profession and my self through the clients that I work with to help them resolve problematic behaviors and minimize undesirable results.
