Megan Cerney

Megan Cerney is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over four years of experience, practicing in both Texas and Ohio. She believes in the power of inner strength and personal growth, as beautifully expressed by Ralph Waldo Emerson: “What lies behind you and what lies in front of you, pales in comparison to what lies inside of you.” Megan’s approach is centered around providing a safe space for clients to open up and release their fears, as they embark on a journey of healing and problem-solving. As a woman, veteran, military spouse, working mother, and friend, Megan brings a unique perspective and understanding to her therapy sessions. Specializing in trauma (PTSD), career counseling, relationships, and grief, she utilizes various therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Narrative Therapy, Psychodynamic, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Megan has worked with a diverse range of individuals, including men, women, veterans, active duty personnel, families, and geriatric clients. She firmly believes that everyone deserves support and is committed to helping her clients every step of the way. Outside of her work, Megan is passionate about continuous learning, finding escape in books, and finding joy in plants. She has a love for vibrant colors
