My focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. We achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and working on plan together. I enjoy getting to know each individual and learning about the different paths they have taken through life. I have developed an approach that integrates different perspectives and theories. While working with individuals and families, I focus mainly on strengths and solutions using a cognitive behavioral perspective. I also concentrate on adding a holistic approach to healing. It is a privilege for me to walk along with you every step of your journey. My goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Virginia and Tennessee. I have been in the mental health field for over 23 years. I work with individuals ages 5 and up. I have worked in a variety of settings including, schools, jails, hospitals, community mental health, managed care organizations, veteran’s organizations, and private practice. I am certified in Trauma- Focused Cognitive Behavioral Treatment (TF-CBT). I am also a Certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider (CMHIMP). You have just taken the hardest first step!
