Dr. Melody Hubnik

Dr. Melody Hubnik, a licensed professional counselor and marriage and family therapist with 28 years of experience, is passionate about helping individuals, families, and couples navigate through life’s challenges. With a deep understanding of human development, Dr. Hubnik believes that childhood wounds often shape how we approach adulthood, and she is dedicated to helping her clients overcome these obstacles. Whether it’s anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, parenting struggles, lack of motivation, or past traumas, Dr. Hubnik tailors her approach to each person, family, or couple. She values trust and strives to create a nonjudgmental and compassionate therapeutic environment. Drawing from theories such as Family of Origin (FOO) and Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Dr. Hubnik helps her clients explore patterns learned in childhood and change negative thought narratives. Prior to the first session, she encourages clients to define one or two achievable goals to ensure a focused and effective therapeutic journey. Dr. Hubnik works within her clients’ values and goals and may assign homework to keep the therapy in motion.
