Melody McKibbin, a female therapist, welcomes clients with her 3 years of counseling experience. She believes that every individual has a unique purpose and meaning in life, even in the face of challenges. Melody takes pride in walking alongside her clients on their journey of self-discovery and helping them find their true calling. With a client-centered approach, she strives to create a warm and inviting environment where clients feel comfortable, heard, and valued. Collaboration is key in Melody’s counseling process, as she takes the time to understand her clients’ perspectives, experiences, and needs. She actively listens and provides tailored feedback to help clients achieve their specific goals. Melody’s specialization includes personality disorder treatment, with certification and advanced training in diagnosis, treatment, and management. She is also fully certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and holds Level II DBT Accreditation from The Association of Psychological Therapies. Additionally, Melody focuses on grief/loss, particularly child loss, as well as depression and anxiety. When not caring for clients, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and Russian Blue cats. Melody finds joy in hanging out with friends, working on puzzles, and painting.
