Michelle Prado, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, holds a Master of Science in Social Work from The University of Texas at Arlington. With her warm and compassionate nature, Michelle creates a safe space for clients to navigate life’s challenges. Through mindfulness, exploring core beliefs, reframing challenges, and honoring values, Michelle helps clients develop helpful strategies. She is dedicated to helping individuals align their lives with their authentic selves and tailors her approach to meet the unique needs of each client. Michelle’s experience spans diverse populations, including providing grief counseling and supporting clients and their families through various medical issues. Her therapeutic toolbox includes cognitive behavioral therapy, humanistic approaches, strength-based approaches, solution-focused techniques, trauma-informed care, and mindfulness practices. Michelle is well-versed in addressing child abuse, family violence, trauma, crisis intervention, medical issues, aging concerns, grief and loss, anxiety, and depression.
