Welcome to Betterhelp! Hi my name is Milagros Reyes-Luciano, LCSW. Most people call me Millie. It is my pleasure to meet you. You have taken a great step in discovering your potential, improving your self care and finding contentment in your life. Some of the theoretical approaches I implement when working with clients come from a Strengths Based Perspective as well as from Positive Psychology Interventions. Coming from a strengths based perspective and focusing on these and other positive capacities can bring much value to your sessions. You might be in a place where you do not feel like you have a good sense of self. You might be experiencing some type of loss, struggling in dealing with relationships in and outside of the home. I can support you in these as well as other difficulties such as Anger issues, Depression or Anxiety. Implementing positive psychology interventions which are empathy oriented and others can strengthen your interpersonal relationships and promote a better sense of self.  It’s my pleasure to get to know you. I wanted to take a moment to let you know a bit about my general availability and frequency of responding. I encourage you to write as often and as much as you like – this room is open 24 hours a day, seven days per week. I typically respond to all messages within 24 hours. The only exception is the weekend, when I take off. It is also possible to schedule a live video, phone, or chat session – if you click on the schedule tab on the left hand side of the page, you can see what times I have available.
