Hello! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida, and I love what I do! I’ve worked for several years in settings ranging from inpatient rehabilitation centers to community mental health and trauma agencies, to my current work in private practice. I work with people of all ages, and I’ve experienced firsthand what a difference it can make to know there is someone on your team who is standing by to help you, no matter what challenges life throws your way. My clients have a wide range of concerns, ranging from problems with relationships, anxiety, depression, phobias, ADHD, and more. Many have experienced trauma, abuse, neglect and domestic violence. To be the best counselor I can be, I have done a lot of extra training and continue to do so! My job is to be prepared to help you in whatever way will be best for you. I want to be able to provide exactly the right type of therapy for you, depending on your unique situation. I am a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Provider, a Certified EMDR Therapist, and a Certified Telemental Health Provider. I feel lucky to be a therapist today, when advances in neuroscience have given us so much new information about the ways in which we can heal. Some of my clients do best when we work through issues from the past that still bother them today. Others really need to find quick and practical solutions right away to deal with current life situations. One thing that stays the same, however, is that therapy works best when there’s a great match between both people. By teaming up to work together in a warm non-judgmental environment, we will find the way to create the changes you would like to see in your life! I became a therapist because I was inspired by the people who were there for me when I needed it, and I wanted to have the opportunity to do the same for others.
